Dear Cooperators, Invitation is hereby given to all members that the 6th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of FOECOMS will hold on Saturday, the 23rd of March, 2019 at Royalty Hotels (Yakubu Hall), Eket-Oron Road, Eket, Akwa Ibom State. TIME: 1000hrs – 1300hrs. A G E N D A: 1. Welcome address by the President/Call to order. 2. Apologies and attendance. 3. Minutes of 2018 AGM. 4. Adoption of minutes/Matters arising. 5. President’s Annual Report. 6. Receive and adopt annual Report and audited financial statement for the year ending 31.12.2018. 7. Presentation by Zenith Bank reps on “ Insurance Services”. 8. Presentation by First Bank reps on “ Child Education Funding”. 9. Other 3rd Party Presentations. 10. Distribution of Dividend Cheques to members. 11. Specific Issues as received and considered will be discussed. 12. Refreshment & Presidential handshake. 13. Vote of Thanks. 14. Closure. Please note that: • Attendance is mandatory for all Eket based members. Applicable levy will apply in line with the Society rule. Sitting, Lateness and absent levy to be applied (Sitting – N50, Lateness – N200, Absent –N500). Levies not collected at the event venue will be deducted accordingly. • Momentus are primarily for attendees only. We encourage members to attend and participate. • All specific issue/matter to be considered for discussion in the AGM must be in writing and addressed to the secretariat (secretariat.foecoms@frontieroilltd.com copying ekene.ebisi@frontieroilltd.com ) on or before CoB 22nd March, 2019. The AGM gives members of the Society an opportunity to question the committee members on annual workings of the society and review same in line with the society’s bye-laws and cooperative principles.. We have invited and secured the availability of officers of the Lagos State Cooperative Directorate to be part of the AGM. They will assist in providing more perspective to issues and questions that might arise during the meeting.
